Turkish basketball teams Turk Telekom and Besiktas GAIN have secured their places in the BKT EuroCup semifinals after narrowly winning quarterfinal matches.
Turk Telekom secured a narrow 91‑90 victory over Israel’s Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem, advancing to the semifinals. The Ankara-based club overcame an early deficit, with a decisive performance in the final quarter, including a critical last-second three-pointer that sealed the win.
Hapoel Midtown established an early lead, finishing the first quarter 25‑19 ahead, with Jared Harper contributing significantly. Despite trailing, Turk Telekom gradually narrowed the gap, with Allman and Smith providing key offensive support. By the final buzzer, the team had claimed the victory, setting up a semifinal clash against the winner of the Cosea JL Bourg‑en‑Bresse quarterfinal series.
Meanwhile, Besiktas GAIN edged past Italy’s Dolomiti Energia Trento 77‑76 in a nail-biting encounter at home. The Istanbul team held their nerve in the dying moments to secure a narrow victory, setting up an all-Turkish semifinal clash against Bahcesehir Koleji.
The semifinal series will be played over three games on March 31, April 3, and April 8, 2026, with the first team to win two games advancing to the EuroCup final.
