Turkish international defender Ozan Kabak has been nominated for the Bundesliga’s Player of the Month award for February following a series of performances with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim that drew attention across Germany’s top football league.
The 25-year-old center-back, who plays for Hoffenheim in Germany’s Bundesliga, the country’s highest professional football division, was included among the league’s top performers for the month after making a strong impact both defensively and offensively.
Kabak’s nomination reflects his growing influence in Hoffenheim’s lineup throughout the current season. The defender has appeared in 16 matches for the club and has scored four goals, an unusually high tally for a player in his position.
While Kabak’s primary role is to anchor the defense, his contributions in front of the goal have helped him stand out among other defenders in the league. His overall performance in February placed him among the Bundesliga players being considered for the monthly award.
