Turkish rider Toprak Razgatlioglu gears up for second MotoGP race in Brazil

Turkish rider Toprak Razgatlioglu will take to the track this weekend for the second round of the MotoGP World Championship, held in Brazil.

The race weekend will take place at the Autodromo Ayrton Senna in the city of Goiania. The 3.8-kilometer circuit will host a 31-lap main race on Sunday, March 22, with the sprint race scheduled for Saturday, March 21.

Strong competition after opening round

'El Turco' riding for Prima Pramac Yamaha, began his rookie MotoGP season with a 17th-place finish at the Thailand Grand Prix.

The season opener was won by Italian rider Marco Bezzecchi, representing Aprilia Racing, who started the year with a dominant performance.

After the first race of the season, the top five in the riders’ standings are:

  1. Marco Bezzecchi – 25 points
  2. Pedro Acosta – 20 points
  3. Raul Fernandez – 16 points
  4. Jorge Martin – 13 points
  5. Ai Ogura – 11 points
