Turkish rider Toprak Razgatlioglu delivered another masterclass performance at the World Superbike Championship (WSBK), winning the final race of the French round at Magny-Cours.

The ROKiT BMW Motorrad rider, supported by Red Bull, had already claimed victories in both the opening race and the Superpole race, completing a flawless weekend with his third triumph.

Commanding the track

Starting from pole position, Razgatlioglu immediately took control of the 4.4-kilometer Magny-Cours Circuit and never looked back. He led every lap of the 21-lap contest, eventually taking the checkered flag in dominant fashion. With this result, the 2021 world champion extended his winning streak to 12 consecutive races. Celebrating in style, Razgatlioglu carried the Turkish flag on his victory lap.

Behind Razgatlioglu, Aruba Ducati’s Italian rider Nicolo Bulega secured second place, while British rider Alex Lowes, representing Bimota by Kawasaki Racing, completed the podium in third. Türkiye’s other representative, Bahattin Sofuoglu, finished 17th.

Championship standings

After nine rounds, Razgatlioglu now leads the overall standings with 469 points, holding a 39-point advantage over Bulega, who sits second with 430 points. Italian Danilo Petrucci of Barni Spark Racing remains third with 260 points. Sofuoglu is 20th overall with 23 points.

The World Superbike Championship continues with its 10th round in Spain, as MotorLand Aragon in Alcaniz hosts the next stage of the season from September 26–28.
