A heartwarming tribute organized by students at Pakize Bayraktar Primary School in Türkiye’s Mersin province has gained widespread attention after hundreds of children expressed their admiration for national football star Arda Guler in a special school event.
Approximately 400 students participated in the organized gathering, transforming the schoolyard into a stadium-like atmosphere. Wearing Arda Guler national team jerseys, they chanted in unison, saying,
“Arda brother, come to our school,” in a collective show of support and affection for the young footballer.
The event, coordinated with the support of school staff and teachers, was designed as a tribute to Guler’s achievements and popularity among young fans.
The emotional gesture quickly circulated on social media, where it drew significant public interest.
In response, Arda Guler shared footage of the students on his official social media account and expressed his gratitude. In his message, he stated: “I cannot find words to describe what this love makes me feel. In every step I take, there are traces of your affection. Thank you very much.”
