Turkish national wrestler Kerem Kamal claimed gold medal at the 2025 European Wrestling Championships, triumphing in the Greco-Roman 63 kg category.
In the final held in Bratislava, Slovakia, the 25-year-old Turkish athlete defeated Armenian opponent Karen Aslanyan with a commanding 7-2 victory.

Delivering 2025's 1st gold medal to Türkiye
The win marks Kamal’s second European title, following his previous championship in 2022.
With this victory, Kamal also delivered Türkiye’s first gold medal at this year’s European Championships.
