Representing Türkiye at the World Under-23 Wrestling Championships in Serbia, Nesrin Bas secured the gold medal in the women’s 68 kg category with a commanding 10–0 victory over Alina Shevchenko.
According to the Turkish Wrestling Federation, Bas reached the U23 final for the fourth year in a row—winning three golds and one silver—marking a historic record in the sport.

In just four years, Bas has competed in ten major finals across the world and European championships. She has collected five medals at the world level—four in the U23 category and one among seniors—and five more in Europe, strengthening her reputation as one of Türkiye’s top female wrestlers.
