Türkiye to face Japan in 2025 VNL quarter-finals on July 24 in Poland

Türkiye’s national women’s volleyball team will take on Japan in the quarter-finals of the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Nations League, following an 8-4 regular season record that earned them 6th place in the standings.

The final stage of the tournament will be held from July 23 to 27 in Lodz, Poland, with Türkiye facing a tough opponent in Japan, led by Turkish head coach Ferhat Akbas, who guided his side to 3rd place in the regular season.

The Türkiye–Japan clash is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, at Atlas Arena.

If Türkiye overcomes Japan, it will advance to the semi-finals to meet the winner of the Brazil vs. Germany match.
