Türkiye stays 9th as UEFA country coefficient rises

Türkiye's UEFA country coefficient rose to 50.275 points following the opening round of Europa League matches, keeping the country in ninth place in the latest standings.

The update came after Besiktas picked up a 4-1 home victory over French side Marseille in the first week of the UEFA Europa League.

Türkiye holds ninth place as gap with rivals remains

The UEFA country coefficient ranking reflects the results collected by clubs from each country in European competitions and plays a role in determining the qualifying rounds their teams have to go through.

Türkiye currently sits ninth with 50.275 points, behind the Netherlands, which is eighth with 52.562.

Czechia and Poland follow Türkiye with 45.125 points each, while Greece stands 12th with 45.012.

England remains at the top of the ranking with 103.976 points, followed by Italy with 88.589 and Spain with 83.243.

The latest standings also place Germany fourth, France fifth, Portugal sixth and Belgium seventh.
