Excitement builds as Türkiye prepares to face Greece in the EuroBasket 2025 semifinal at Arena Riga. Fans who cannot travel to Latvia will still have the chance to experience the atmosphere together: municipalities across Türkiye are setting up giant public screens for supporters to watch the crucial clash free of charge.
The highly anticipated game will tip off at 9 p.m. (GMT+3), and will also be broadcast live on TRT 1. Beyond television coverage, 52 public locations in various cities and towns are hosting outdoor screenings to allow fans to gather and support the national team.
In Istanbul, several districts will provide open-air screenings, including Kadikoy Kalamis Ataturk Park, Arnavutkoy Cumhuriyet Square, Pendik Seaside Square, and Fatih Yedikule Fortress. Local municipalities have invited citizens to “bring your chair and share the excitement together.”
The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality confirmed two major viewing points: Ataturk Forest Farm Natural Life Park and Batıkent Recreation Area, encouraging residents to join the collective celebration of basketball.
Screenings will also be available in Kocaeli (Cayirova Municipality Square), Adana (Duygu Cafe Youth Square), Mersin (Marina Square), Yalova (15 July Democracy and Republic Square), Bursa (Hudavendigar City Park), Sakarya (National Garden), Manisa (Republic Square), Konya (Zindankale Parking Square), and Antalya (HayatPark).
