Türkiye's Trabzonspor seal first summer signing with Ruslan Malinovskyi deal

Trabzonspor have completed their first signing of the summer transfer window after reaching an agreement with experienced Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi, according to reports emerging from Türkiye.

The Black Sea club, commonly known as Trabzonspor and one of Türkiye’s major football teams, reportedly wrapped up negotiations with the Genoa midfielder and agreed terms on a three-year contract. The move marks the club’s first completed transfer ahead of the new season.

A seasoned Serie A player set to join Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor is said to have moved quickly to bring in the experienced midfielder, who most recently played for Italian side Genoa CFC in Serie A, Italy’s top football division.

The club continues to step up its transfer activity for the summer.

Genoa bid farewell as transfer takes shape

Signs that the move had been finalized also appeared to emerge from Italy, with Genoa sharing a farewell message for Malinovskyi on the club’s official social media accounts.

While financial details of the transfer were not disclosed, Trabzonspor is understood to have secured the midfielder on a three-year deal as they look to build up their squad for the upcoming campaign.
