Türkiye's women’s national basketball team arrived in Athens on June 17 ahead of the 2025 FIBA European Championship, scheduled from June 18 to 29.
The team flew from Istanbul Airport to Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport, where Türkiye’s Consul General in Athens-Piraeus, Isil Isik Civelik, welcomed the delegation. The team then traveled by bus to their hotel.
Türkiye is drawn into Group A, alongside host nation Greece, France, and Switzerland.
Turkey’s first match is set for June 18 at 5:30 p.m. (GMT +3) against France, followed by a June 19 game against Switzerland at the same time.
The final group match is scheduled against Greece on June 21 at 8:30 p.m.
