UEFA appoints Turkish referees Kucuk, Karaoglan for Europa Conference League ties

UEFA has appointed Türkiye’s FIFA and UEFA-licensed referees Zorbay Kucuk and Atilla Karaoglan to officiate in the first legs of the UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round matches scheduled for Thursday, August 7.

According to a statement released by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), Zorbay Kucuk will oversee the clash between Norway’s Rosenborg and Sweden’s Hammarby, to be held at Lerkendal Stadium in Trondheim, Norway. The match will kick off at 7:00 p.m. (GMT +3)

• Assistant referees: Deniz Caner Ozaral and Furkan Urun
• Fourth official: Omer Faruk Turtay
• VAR: Onur OzuToprak
• AVAR: Davut Dakul Celik

Meanwhile, Atilla Karaoglan has been assigned to referee the match between Vikingur Reykjavik of Iceland and Brondby of Denmark. The game will take place at Vikingsvollur Stadium in Reykjavik, with kickoff set for 9:45 p.m. (GMT +3).
