When to watch Turkish athletes at 2026 Winter Games

The competition schedule for Turkish national athletes set to compete at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games has been officially announced. Hosted by Italy, the Games will see Turkish athletes competing across several disciplines in pursuit of Olympic success.

All competition times are given in Turkish time (GMT+3).

First medal events begin on Feb. 9

Türkiye’s first medal challenges will take place on Monday, when Fatih Arda Ipcioglu and Muhammed Ali Bedir compete in the men’s normal hill ski jumping event at the Predazzo Ski Jumping Stadium. The competition is scheduled to start at 9 p.m.

Cross-country skiing and alpine skiing events

In cross-country skiing, Abdullah Yilmaz will race in the men’s sprint classic on Tuesday at 11:15 a.m., followed by the men’s 10-kilometer freestyle on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Tesero Cross-Country Stadium.

At the same venue, Irem Dursun will compete in the women’s 10-kilometer freestyle on Feb. 12 at 2 p.m.

In alpine skiing, Thomas Kaan Onol Lang will take part in the men’s giant slalom on Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. at the Stelvio Ski Center. Later that day, Ipcioglu and Bedir will return to competition in the men’s large hill ski jumping event, scheduled for 8:45 p.m. in Predazzo.

3 disciplines on Feb. 16

Turkish athletes will compete in three different disciplines on Feb. 16.
Lang will race in the men’s slalom at 12 p.m. in Stelvio. On the same day, Denis Ors and Furkan Akar will compete in the men’s 500-meter short track speed skating heats at 1:15 p.m. at the Milano Ice Skating Arena.

In the evening session, Ipcioglu and Bedir will represent Türkiye in the men’s ski jumping super team event at 9 p.m. in Predazzo.

Türkiye’s final medal events will take place on Feb. 18. Ada Hasirci will compete in the women’s alpine skiing slalom at 12 p.m. at the Tofane Alpine Skiing Center.

If they advance from the heats, Ors and Akar will also compete in the men’s 500-meter short track speed skating quarterfinals at 10:15 p.m. in Milan.
