In a statement from Türkiye's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), no adverse conditions have been reported following the earthquake, though field surveys are still ongoing.

This quake follows the strong tremors that struck Istanbul on Wednesday, when more than 100 aftershocks followed a 6.2 magnitude earthquake, causing widespread panic and raising questions about disaster preparedness.
