Armenia joins NATO’s ‘Vigorous Warrior 2024’ medical drill
As part of NATO’s medical drill, Armenia’s medical battalion set up a field hospital, enhancing cooperation and practical skills for simultaneous operations
Armenia is participating in the multinational military medical exercise Vigorous Warrior 2024, which is organized by NATO’s Military Medical Centre of Excellence (MILMED COE) in Hungary.
According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, a medical battalion from the Ministry of Defense’s Military Medical Support Department will participate in the drill.
This unit has set up a mobile field hospital at the Bakonykuti Military Training Area in Varpalota, Hungary.
During a visit to the field hospital, Col. Medical Doctor Laszlo Fazekas, director of NATO MILMED COE, expressed his satisfaction with the collaborative learning environment fostered by the exercise and emphasized the importance of knowledge sharing among the participants.
The main objective of “Vigorous Warrior 2024” is to strengthen cooperation between the health support systems of NATO members and partner countries, focusing on enhancing practical skills for simultaneous operations.
Over 1,600 representatives from 32 countries and seven civilian organizations participated in this exercise, underlining its broad international scope and importance.
