A fire broke out at a nine-story hotel on Siraselviler Street in Beyoglu, Istanbul on Monday, with the cause of the blaze unknown.
Emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene following the alert. A significant number of police, health, and fire crews were deployed to address the situation.
Dense smoke was seen billowing from the hotel as some of the guests were able to evacuate on their own. Firefighters are continuing their efforts to rescue those inside and to control the blaze.
