Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa explored the historical wonders of Istanbul with visits to Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque.
Accompanied by Türkiye’s Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Mongolian President Ukhnaa, delved into the rich cultural and historical heritage of the city.
During his visit to Topkapi Palace, Ukhnaa received an in-depth briefing from Topkapi Palace Department Head Ilhan Kocaman.
The presentation covered the museum’s invaluable collections, including the Sacred Relics, which hold significant historical and religious importance.
Continuing his tour, the Mongolian President visited Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, where he learned about its remarkable history.
Ukhnaa also explored the museum section of the iconic site, gaining insights into its transformation over the centuries.
The visit highlighted the deepening cultural ties between Mongolia and Türkiye, showcasing Türkiye’s rich historical heritage to international dignitaries.
