PKK/YPG terrorist arrested while planning attacks in Istanbul

A Syrian national, who was allegedly operating at a senior level within the PKK/YPG terrorist organization, has been arrested in Istanbul, Turkish authorities reported.

The suspect known by the initials H.A.C. was taken into custody following accusations of planning terrorist attacks in the city.

Arrested during attack preparations in Istanbul

The suspect was reportedly apprehended while actively preparing for an operation in Istanbul. Turkish security forces launched the operation after identifying the suspect as a key figure within the PKK/YPG organization.

Authorities stated that H.A.C. was allegedly responsible for orchestrating actions for the group, but further details regarding the planned attacks were not disclosed.
