President Erdogan, main opposition leader Ozel exchange Eid greetings

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Chairman of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), Ozgur Ozel, engaged in a telephone conversation to exchange Eid al-Adha greetings, extending wishes for Father’s Day on Sunday.

The phone call, made in light of the Eid al-Adha celebrations, saw both leaders exchanging warm wishes for the occasion and expressing mutual respect.

The conversation also included heartfelt wishes for Father’s Day, adding a personal touch to the festive greetings.

The Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice, commemorates the prophet Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son at God’s command.
