Turkish authorities seize 825 kg of heroin in Adana

Turkish authorities seized 825 kilograms (1818.8 pounds) of heroin hidden in coffee cans during the "Narkocelik-50" operation in , Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, announced on social media.

Months-long investigation leads to major drug bust

The operation was conducted under the coordination of the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the of the General Directorate of Security.

The Adana Branch led the raid, which was the culmination of a 10-month investigation.

During the operation, officers intercepted a vehicle and discovered 825 kilograms of heroin concealed in 1,512 coffee cans. One suspect was detained.
