Türkiye's Ministry of National Defense announced on Sunday that the Turkish Armed Forces have eliminated 13 PKK/YPG terrorists from operations conducted in northern Syria and Iraq.

The operations targeted areas known for militant activity as part of Türkiye’s ongoing efforts to combat terrorism.

Successful strikes in Syria's Euphrates Shield region

According to the ministry's statement, 10 PKK/YPG terrorists were eliminated in Syria's Euphrates Shield region. The operation was part of Türkiye’s broader strategy to secure its southern borders against cross-border threats from terrorist groups.

Claw-lock operation continues in northern Iraq

In addition, three PKK/YPG terrorist ants were eliminated in the Claw-Lock Operation Zone in northern Iraq. The Claw-Lock campaign is part of Türkiye's sustained counterterrorism efforts aimed at dismantling PKK/YPG strongholds in the region to secure their southern border with Iraq.
