Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has dismantled a cybercrime network accused of using illegally obtained personal data for organizational activities linked to terrorist groups.
Three suspects were arrested during the operation, according to security sources.
The investigation revealed that the network used advanced technological methods to conduct illegal data transactions via international platforms.
MIT identified that the stolen data was being exploited for financial gain and activities detrimental to Türkiye's national interests.
Authorities found that the suspects collaborated with international crime networks to obtain sensitive information, which was later utilized for economic profit and anti-Türkiye actions.
