Türkiye eliminates 5 PKK terrorists in northern Iraq airstrike

Türkiye’s Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced that five PKK terrorists were eliminated during an air operation in northern Iraq.
In a statement, the MoD highlighted that the Turkish Armed Forces continue to target the PKK at its source, stating:
“During an air operation conducted in northern Iraq on October 27, 2024, five PKK terrorists were eliminated in the Qandil region. We are determined, resolute, and capable of eradicating terrorism at its source,” read the statement.
