Broader regional peace advocated

Türkiye linked the cease-fire to broader regional stability, repeating its call for a comprehensive cease-fire in Gaza and an end to Israel's policies in the region.

Ankara underlined that a long-term solution in Gaza is vital for peace and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean.

"We take this opportunity to recall that in order to ensure regional peace and stability, a permanent and comprehensive cease-fire must be declared in Gaza as soon as possible and Israel must cease its aggressive policies," Turkish Foreign Ministry stated.
