Perseid meteor shower lights up Ankara’s skies in stunning display

The Perseid meteor shower dazzled the night skies over Türkiye’s capital, Ankara, on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
As the annual Perseid meteor shower reached its peak, stargazers under clear skies were treated to a stunning celestial display on the nights of Aug. 12-13.
Astronomy enthusiasts across the country also enjoyed the intense meteor shower, with sightings reported in several cities.
