Senator Bernie Sanders calls for end to US funding for Netanyahu’s war

Senator Bernie Sanders urged the US.to stop funding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s war in the Gaza Strip, following recent deadly strikes. “Enough is enough. No more money for Netanyahu’s war machine,” Sanders said on X.
Sanders criticized the Biden administration’s continued support for Israel amid escalating violence in Gaza, where over 41,000 people have been killed since October 7, mostly women and children.
The call comes after the death of Turkish American activist Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, 26, who was shot by Israeli forces during a protest against illegal settlements. President Joe Biden called her death an “accident” but later demanded “full accountability” and urged Israel to prevent such incidents in the future.
