US to provide $425M in new defense aid to Ukraine

The United States announced it will provide Ukraine with a new defense aid package worth $425 million, consisting of urgently needed weapons and equipment amid the ongoing war with Russia.

In a statement from the State Department, it was reported that the Biden administration continues to provide additional defense assistance to Kyiv.

The new defense package, valued at $425 million, includes not only urgently needed weapons for defense but also numerous , , and medical equipment. The package is said to contain air defense missiles and systems, air-to-ground munitions, additional artillery systems, grenades, and Stinger missiles.

The statement emphasized that this package is a sign of the determination to increase aid sent to Ukraine "to defend itself against Russian aggression," facilitated through the " (UDCG)" coalition, which includes approximately 50 countries.
