Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek announced that the highly anticipated draft tax regulation on stock trading has been postponed.
Minister Simsek announced on his social media account that a tax package will be presented to Parliament soon, but it will not include the stock market tax provisions.
The package, which aims to enhance tax efficiency and fairness and reduce the informal economy, will be submitted to TBMM soon. Based on feedback from all relevant parties, we are postponing the draft tax regulation on the stock market for further evaluation.
