France’s CEVA Logistics has finalized its $383 million acquisition of Turkish logistics provider Borusan Tedarik from conglomerate Borusan Yatirim, the companies announced Wednesday in separate statements.
According to Borusan, all shares of Borusan Tedarik, 30% held by Borusan Yatirim and 70% by Borusan Holding, have been transferred to CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group. The transaction was completed after receiving approval from Türkiye’s Competition Authority.
Borusan Port, another Borusan Group company operating in the logistics sector, will continue its activities within the group.
Borusan Group CEO Erkan Kafadar said they were proud to complete the transfer of Borusan Tedarik’s shares to a global logistics player such as CEVA.
Kafadar said the integration of Borusan Tedarik into CEVA Logistics “is a transformative step both for us and for the sector,” adding that it demonstrates the global value and potential of Türkiye’s logistics industry.
“The transfer of our operational expertise accumulated over the years, our advanced technological infrastructure, and our highly qualified human resources to CEVA Logistics is a strong indication of the confidence placed in Türkiye,” he said. “As Borusan Group, we will continue operating under our dynamic portfolio strategy and contributing to our country’s development through new investments.”
CEVA confirmed that it has acquired 100% of Borusan Tedarik—the legal entity operating Türkiye’s Borusan Lojistik—after receiving all required regulatory clearances. Marseille-based CEVA is part of French shipping giant CMA CGM, the world’s third-largest container line.
With the acquisition, CEVA gains control of Borusan Lojistik’s foreign subsidiaries and its Turkish digital logistics platforms, eTA and Bukoli. Port operations under the Borusan Lojistik brand will remain with Borusan Holding.
CEVA said it will now begin integrating and rebranding the acquired operations to strengthen its position in Türkiye. The company will oversee about 1.19 million square meters of warehouse space and manage roughly 1 million full truckload (FTL) transports annually in the Turkish market.
The group provides end-to-end contract logistics and air, ocean, ground and finished vehicle transport services in 170 countries, employing around 110,000 people across more than 1,500 facilities worldwide.
