Sabanci Holding, a Türkiye-based conglomerate, ranks 23rd on "World's Best Employers 2026," a list compiled by Forbes and Statista, a German data and market research company. The list covers 900 companies from 52 countries.
Sabanci stood at 51st last year, meaning it rose 28 places. Five companies from Türkiye made the list, and Sabanci ranked highest among them.
The group also placed second among the 29 companies in the holding companies category, which covers firms that own stakes in a range of other businesses. It ranked seventh among European companies on the list.
The study drew on responses from more than 300,000 employees in over 50 countries. Companies were assessed on criteria including how likely employees are to recommend their employer, the benefits and facilities offered, talent development, the working environment and training opportunities.
Speaking after the ranking was announced, Sabanci Holding CEO Kivanc Zaimler said advances in artificial intelligence and technology are changing the way people work, and stressed that human capital remains central to the future of companies.
"At Sabanci, we owe the successes of our first century to our people," he said.
Zaimler noted that the group continues its efforts to bring in new talent, help employees build new skills, and give them experience across different fields. He said the rise to 23rd place reflects the results of that approach.
The company's statement added that Sabanci Holding has appeared on the Forbes list for nine consecutive years.
Companies from the technology, retail, aviation and entertainment sectors featured prominently. Microsoft took first place, with Delta Air Lines, Shopify, Costco, Nvidia, Adobe and LEGO also among the top-ranked names.
