Turkish Airlines has announced free reservation changes, route changes and refunds for eligible Ankara flights scheduled between July 6 and July 9, 2026, as the city hosts the 36th NATO Leaders Summit.
The carrier said the measure was introduced to give passengers more flexibility in their travel plans amid possible disruptions linked to the summit.
The rights apply to passengers whose tickets were issued on or before June 29, 2026, and who are booked on flights departing from, arriving in, or connecting through Ankara between July 6 and July 9, inclusive.
Passengers must complete their transactions by July 16, 2026, to benefit from the policy.
Under the arrangement, reservation and route changes will be made without charge. Refund requests will also be processed free of charge, with no deduction from the ticket price.
Turkish Airlines also said passengers may extend the validity of their tickets until July 23, 2026, without paying any fare difference or penalty.
The same rights will apply to ancillary services, meaning additional services purchased for the flight, such as extra options linked to the booking.
The airline noted that the policy applies only to flights operated by Turkish Airlines.
