Turkish commercial vehicle maker Anadolu Isuzu has signed a $37.8 million export agreement with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to supply 70 articulated public buses, marking the company’s largest single-batch bus export to date.

The agreement was signed during the UITP Summer 2025 Global Public Transport Summit held in Hamburg, Germany, on Friday as a part of Anadolu Isuzu’s broader strategy to expand its international footprint by catering to the specific transport needs of foreign markets through tailored production capabilities.

According to the company, the export package includes the delivery of 70 AOS-branded Citiport 18 Class 2 model articulated buses.

These vehicles are designed to meet Dubai’s specific urban mobility requirements and are equipped with high passenger capacity, energy-efficient systems, and advanced comfort technologies.

Anadolu Isuzu stated the buses will introduce a new standard in Dubai’s urban transportation network, offering a modern and comfortable alternative to existing systems. The delivery is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

The company emphasized that these buses are not only technically advanced but also reflect the firm’s capability to adapt engineering and production processes to meet the demands of different geographic markets.

Commenting on the development, Murat Dedeoglu, International Sales Director at Anadolu Isuzu, highlighted that the deal represents more than just a boost in export figures.

He underlined its significance as a testament to the company’s engineering expertise and its ability to develop market-specific products.

“With over 40 years of experience, we will continue to deliver unique solutions tailored to regional needs and contribute to innovative transportation systems,” Dedeoglu said.

Founded in 1980, Anadolu Isuzu is a joint venture between the Turkish conglomerate Anadolu Group and the Japanese companies Isuzu Motors and Itochu Corporation.
