Turkish central bank's foreign reserves hits record in November

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) reported that gross foreign exchange reserves reached a new peak of $95.01 billion, increasing by $2.19 billion from $92.82 billion.

According to the CBRT's weekly monetary and banking statistics, total reserves rose by $1.65 billion to reach $159.39 billion during the week ending Dec. 6.

During the same period, gold reserves declined by $541 million, falling from $64.92 billion to $64.38 billion.

Consequently, the CBRT's total reserves rose from $157.74 billion in the previous week to $159.39 billion as of Dec. 6.
