Online shopping, learning on the rise

E-commerce activity showed further growth in 2025, with the share of individuals purchasing goods or services online rising to 55.7%, up from 51.7% in the previous year. Men engaged in e-commerce at a rate of 59.1%, compared with 52.3% among women.

The survey also revealed that 42.3% of respondents had completed at least one online purchase during the first three months of the year.

Online learning activities, whether for education, professional development, or personal interest, also gained momentum. The proportion of individuals taking part in such activities reached 17.7%, an increase of 3.9 percentage points from 2024.
