Turkish Finance Minister Simsek heads to London for investor talks, to co-chair EBRD meeting

Turkish Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek will meet with investors and financial sector representatives in London from Tuesday to Thursday.

As part of his visit, Simsek is set to present international investors with a comprehensive outlook on the current state of the Turkish economy and its reform agenda.

He will also participate in the Türkiye Conference organized by BNP Paribas, one of Europe’s leading investment banks.

During the conference, Simsek will deliver a detailed presentation on the Turkish economy.

He is also expected to hold one-on-one meetings with investor groups, where he will provide assessments on the Medium-Term Program, fiscal discipline policies, and investment opportunities.

Simsek to co-chair EBRD meeting

Minister Simsek will also attend the annual meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where he will serve as co-chair of the Board of Governors' plenary session.

Additionally, he will speak at a special panel titled “Türkiye Investment Outlook,” organized by the EBRD.

The panel will include a Q&A session, where Simsek will respond to participants and highlight Türkiye’s investment potential from various perspectives.

Simsek is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts during his visit to London.
