Fuel prices in Türkiye shift often because global oil markets stay unstable and the exchange rate moves quickly.
However, recent tax adjustments also place extra pressure on pump prices. Sector sources say another change is likely to take effect at midnight, although there has not been an official announcement.
Sector representatives expect companies to add 1.14 ₺ ($0.027) to the price of one liter of gasoline/petrol at midnight. They say stations did not reflect this increase on October 29 because of Republic Day, which is a national holiday.
The adjustment is now expected overnight, but it has not been officially confirmed by regulators or distributors.
Diesel prices rose by 3.04 ₺ on October 25, which pushed costs to record levels in major cities.
No new change for diesel or LPG has been reported today and the expected adjustment applies only to the gasoline group.
Prices across Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir stay close to each other.

All sources link recent fuel price shifts to the same factors, including sharp movements in Brent crude, a weaker exchange rate that lifts import costs, and the added impact of recent tax changes.
The Turkish Statistical Institute reported 16.67 percent inflation for the first six months of the year. The Revenue Administration raised the Special Consumption Tax by 15.71 percent on July 3. These adjustments continue to influence final prices at stations.
There have been no official reports regarding a fresh adjustment for diesel or LPG today. The focus remains on the expected gasoline increase at midnight. Sector sources share this estimate, but the change remains unconfirmed until companies update pump prices.
