Major Turkish lender Is Bankasi’s credit card brand Maximum, on Thursday has signed a partnership with Visa, the “Official Payment Partner” of EuroLeague, Europe’s top men’s basketball competition, for the 2025–2026 season.
The partnership was announced at a press conference attended by Is Bankasi Deputy General Manager Sezgin Lule, Visa Türkiye General Manager Samile Mumin, and prominent sports figures. Former professional basketball player Ibrahim Kutluay and commentator Kaan Kural joined a discussion moderated by Deniz Aksoy.
Is Bankasi Deputy GM Lule said the bank has long supported sports ranging from chess to cycling, sailing to tennis. “With this partnership, which is one of the important global steps of our strong cooperation with Visa, we will share the excitement on the court, bringing to EuroLeague — followed breathlessly by millions of fans — the innovative, life-simplifying, and pioneering payment experiences we offer,” he said.
Visa Türkiye GM Mumin added: “EuroLeague is one of the places where competition, excitement, and passion in basketball are experienced at the highest level. As Visa, we are bringing our official EuroLeague payment partnership to the courts in the 2025–2026 season together with Maximum Card.”

EuroLeague Basketball Commercial Affairs Director Gawain Davies welcomed the deal. “It is very impressive to see our partners creating synergies to grow and promote EuroLeague through innovative ways. We believe this partnership will find strong resonance in Türkiye, which is one of our most strategic markets.”
The EuroLeague 2025–2026 season will feature 20 teams competing in a league format with more than 380 games across 38 weeks. The season begins Sept. 30, 2025, and concludes April 17, 2026.
The Final Four will take place in Athens, with the semifinals on May 22 and the championship game on May 24. Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahce Beko will represent Türkiye, offering basketball fans top-level competition and an unforgettable experience.
