Türkiye’s domestic electric vehicle manufacturer Togg has received the highest possible five-star safety rating from the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) for its T10F and T10X models.
The independent body, widely recognized as the leading authority on automotive crash testing in Europe, confirmed that Togg outperformed several global brands, such as Tesla and Volvo, in key safety categories.
According to Euro NCAP reports, the T10F and T10X achieved an adult occupant protection score of 95%. This places the vehicles ahead of Tesla, which scored 90% in the 2025 Euro NCAP tests, and Volvo’s EX30 model, which recorded 88% in 2024.
The results highlight Togg’s ability to compete directly with established international manufacturers on engineering and safety standards.
Togg’s T10X first entered the market in 2023, with its prototypes and safety design finalized as early as 2022. Industry experts note that Euro NCAP regulations are updated annually and have become increasingly strict.
Achieving top scores under current conditions reflects the foresight and technical precision of the company’s development process.
The results are being viewed within Türkiye as evidence of the country’s growing automotive engineering capabilities. Euro NCAP confirmed that Togg outperformed several German, British, and Japanese automakers, as well as long-established leaders in vehicle safety.
Industry observers say these results demonstrate that Togg has positioned itself not only as a domestic brand but also as a competitor with global reach.
Founded in 1997, Euro NCAP is an independent, non-profit organization that evaluates the safety performance of vehicles sold in Europe.
Its star ratings and category scores are widely used by consumers, manufacturers, and regulators as benchmarks for crash safety and engineering standards.
