Swiss electronic music duo Adriatique brought their globally recognized “X” stage concept to Istanbul on May 9, turning the city’s waterfront into a large-scale audiovisual spectacle attended by around 10,000 people.
Set up directly along the waterfront, the towering “X” stage reached nearly 25 meters in height and became the centerpiece of the night. Throughout the event, cinematic visuals, synchronized laser effects and giant LED screens lit up the marina area, while a powerful sound system carried performances across the venue.
Widely known in the electronic music scene for their atmospheric and visually driven performances, Adriatique took to the stage in the evening after some supporting performances and maintained the crowd’s energy throughout their set.
Supporting performances during the night that came from Mind Against, Son of Son, Emir Sagiroglu and Tal Barahya, helped build momentum as thousands of attendees gathered around the marina venue.
The concert also generated significant attention across social media platforms, where videos of the giant “X” structure, laser displays and crowd scenes started to circulate online in large numbers.
Images shared during the night highlighted both the scale of the production and the atmosphere created by the large audience gathered along Istanbul’s coastline, further amplifying the event’s reach beyond the venue itself.
