Singer Buray gave fans a night full of music on the sixth day of the Erzurum Culture Road Festival, performing a concert at the city's Rally Square as part of the event organized by Türkiye's Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Buray performed a set of his popular songs to an enthusiastic crowd, with music lovers singing along to every track. Organizers said excitement built throughout the performance, with attendees enjoying an evening filled with music and entertainment.
The concert was one of several events held on the same day as the festival continued its sixth-day program, which combined culture and the arts as part of a broader effort to contribute to Türkiye's brand value.
Alongside the concert, the festival featured a gilding workshop led by Kubra Coskun and Havva Beyim Akar, where participants learned about tezhip, a traditional Turkish ornamental art with roots stretching from the Seljuk to the Ottoman era.
Researcher-writer Murat Ertas also took part in a talk titled "The Cultural Foundations of Erzurum's City Identity," which explored the city's cultural memory and the elements that shape its identity.
Separately, the "Ottoman Sacred Relics Exhibition," prepared by the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums, displayed 57 works reflecting the Ottoman Empire's historical ties to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
The festival's children's village also welcomed young visitors with activities combining entertainment, creativity and learning.
In total, the Erzurum Culture Road Festival will host 174 events across 11 locations in the city before concluding on Sunday, Aug. 23.
