The Kosovo National Ballet performed its productions "Bolero" and "Correr o Fado" at this year's 23rd International Bodrum Ballet Festival, held in the Bodrum district of Mugla.
Held at the North Moat Stage of Bodrum Castle as part of the festival organized by the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet, the Kosovo National Ballet presented audiences with two distinct productions blending classical music with contemporary dance.

In the first part of the evening, "Bolero," choreographed by Mehmet Balkan based on Maurice Ravel's world-famous work, was performed.
The piece, notable for its rhythmic structure and gradually building dramatic tension, drew attention from art lovers with choreography that steadily increased the tempo of the dance.
In the second part of the program, "Correr o Fado," choreographed by Daniel Cardoso, was presented to the audience. Inspired by Fado, Portugal's deep-rooted musical tradition, the piece interpreted melancholy, love, longing, and the shifting flow of life through the language of contemporary dance.
By staging two original productions reflecting different cultures in a single evening, the Kosovo National Ballet became one of the festival's standout ensembles, noted for its technical achievement, stage discipline, and powerful performance.
The Kosovo National Ballet will bring "Bolero" and "Correr o Fado" back to art lovers for a second time tomorrow at the North Moat Stage of Bodrum Castle.
The festival, featuring a program of distinguished works, will continue until Aug. 17.
