Istanbul is preparing for a packed season of concerts and festivals, with global artists and major events set to take place across the city from April through the summer months.

The program, promoted by Türkiye’s official tourism platform Go Türkiye, brings together a wide range of music events aimed at both local audiences and international visitors.

With a digital reach of more than 21.8 million followers, the platform has begun sharing “Music Vibe” videos that present Istanbul’s venues, atmosphere, and international performers to a global audience.

The campaign positions the city as a year-round destination for live music and entertainment, with a particular focus on the spring and summer period.

Big names line up for Istanbul

Istanbul stands out as a key stop on international tour routes in 2026, with a lineup that spans classical music, pop, electronic, and alternative genres.

The season begins in April with Sonar Istanbul, one of the city’s leading electronic music festivals.

In May, the program continues with performances including "The Music of Hans Zimmer and Others," Andrea Bocelli’s "30th Anniversary World Tour," and a scheduled concert by Kanye West, also known as Ye.

June brings two of Istanbul’s longest-running cultural events, the 54th Istanbul Music Festival and the 33rd Istanbul Jazz Festival.

The same period will also feature concerts by Chris Isaak and Maher Zain, alongside international tours such as Scorpions’ 60th anniversary tour, Pet Shop Boys’ Dreamworld tour, and a Gorillaz performance.

Later in the year, additional concerts are expected from The Black Keys and the group Blue.

The concentration of concerts and festivals during spring and summer is expected to increase international visitor numbers.

The initiative is coordinated by Go Türkiye and the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), which aims to expand event-based tourism and position Istanbul as a global cultural destination.
