World-renowned, Grammy-winning DJ Tiesto, whose real name is Tijs Michiel Verwest, met with music fans at Festival Park Yenikapi as part of the 5th Istanbul Festival.
Taking the stage on the eighth day of the festival, Tiesto performed a concert featuring a repertoire of his popular tracks. The artist performed international hits including "The Business," "Don't Be Shy," "10:35," "Red Lights" and "Lay Low."
Music fans who filled the festival grounds showed great interest in the artist's performance. The 5th Istanbul Festival, held at Festival Park Yenikapi, will continue to host local and international artists until August 16.
Tiesto has performed in Türkiye on several occasions in the past, including shows in Istanbul in 2007 and 2014. He also took the stage at the same festival in August 2024, marking his return to Festival Park Yenikapi for a second consecutive year.
Running from Aug. 1 to 16, the Istanbul Festival has grown into one of the largest open-air events of the summer, offering a wide concert program that ranges from pop to electronic music and from K-pop to special tribute nights.
The lineup brings together Tiesto, Argy, Serdar Ortac, Gulsen, Edis, Yildiz Tilbe, Semicenk, and international K-pop acts on the same schedule, alongside other Turkish artists such as Ajda Pekkan, Mor ve Otesi, and Hande Yener.
Besides the concerts, the festival grounds also feature esports events, basketball tournaments, children's areas, and food courts.
