Harry Styles turned back the clock Friday night, changing into the outfit he wore to his 2010 "X Factor" audition and singing the same Stevie Wonder song that helped him advance on the British talent show at age 16.
The moment came during the first of two Halloween-themed concerts, which fans call "Harryween," at Madison Square Garden on Oct. 30.
Styles opened the show dressed as Elvis Presley, then made the audition-look change partway through the set.
His band and dancers came dressed as different versions of Styles from across his career.
The performance of "Isn’t She Lovely" was a nod to the start of his career.
Styles tried out in 2010 for "The X Factor," a British TV singing contest, and was later placed in the group One Direction, which became one of the world’s biggest boy bands.
The Elvis costume was also a tribute to his early music.
The first song Styles ever recorded was a cover of Presley’s "The Girl of My Best Friend," according to Billboard.
Among those in the crowd were Styles’ fiancee, actress Zoe Kravitz, who wore a red devil costume, and Riley Keough, Presley’s granddaughter, who was seen filming the show on her phone.
The concert was the 29th of the 30-show "Together, Together" residency, a long run of shows at the same arena.
