III. Sanat Dunyamiz Art Film Days (3rd Our World of Art-Film Days) will take place in Istanbul from January 23 to January 26 at Loca at Yapi Kredi Culture and Arts.

The event draws Istanbul residents, foreign visitors, and expat communities who follow curated cinema and contemporary art in Türkiye. This year the theme is “Who’s Eating Who?”

The program examines food sources and distribution, food activism, hunger and satiety, relationships between consumer and consumed, gender roles in kitchens, and cultural and temporal meanings of food.

Yapi Kredi Culture Art and Publishing organizes the event through Sanat Dunyamiz magazine. Cinema critic Engin Ertan curated the program while Ahsen Erdogan, Fisun Yalcinkaya, and Engin Ertan prepared the selection. US anthropologist and writer John S. Allen joins as guest curator. Allen is the author of “The Omnivorous Mind.”

Film screenings run alongside contemporary art performances and a painting selection. Works by artist Vardal Canis remain on display throughout the festival.
