Global pop superstar Jennifer Lopez delivered a vibrant performance in Istanbul on Tuesday, August 5, taking the stage at Festival Park Yenikapi as part of the Istanbul Festival.
The event, organized by Focus Istanbul Event Management, welcomed thousands of music lovers, including prominent figures from the worlds of art, cinema, and music.
Lopez opened the evening with her hit single On The Floor, going on to perform a selection of songs from her albums alongside other globally recognized tracks. Throughout the night, she engaged directly with the audience, expressing her excitement and gratitude. “I can’t believe I am in Istanbul. It has been a long time; it is wonderful to be here with you,” she told the crowd.
The American singer encouraged the audience to sing along, repeatedly inviting them to share in the energy of the night.
“I am so happy to be here. Thank you so much. Are we having a good time? Are you ready to have fun? Will you sing with me?” she asked, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.
Her performance marked a major highlight of the city’s ongoing celebration, which has transformed various parts of Istanbul into hubs of music, culture, and entertainment.
The Istanbul Festival, which runs until Aug. 17, features a diverse program of concerts, events, and activities across multiple venues.
Alongside performances by international and local artists, the festival also offers visitors a wide range of culinary experiences. From street food and snacks to traditional Turkish flavors and international cuisine, the festival grounds cater to varied tastes.
In addition to music and food, the venue includes large-scale entertainment options such as a vertical wind tunnel, a theme park, basketball and esports tournaments held to FIBA standards, and RopeLand, an outdoor rope adventure park.
