Grammy and Emmy Award-winning singer Justin Timberlake performed at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Stadium on Sunday, marking his first return to Türkiye in 11 years.
The concert, organized by Stagepass in partnership with Biletinial as part of Timberlake's 2025 world tour, drew thousands of fans to the venue. The performer opened the show with "Mirrors" before delivering an extensive setlist featuring songs from his latest album "Everything I Thought It Was" alongside career-spanning hits.
"Thank you so much for coming to see us," Timberlake told the audience during the performance. "We've been here for a few days. This concert was definitely very beautiful. My tour this year has been long, it was incredible. I used to dream about this when I was a little kid. Sometimes this job may not be the easiest job in the world, but when I see all of your faces, it makes it all worthwhile."
The Istanbul show followed Timberlake's July 27 performance in Baku, Azerbaijan, as part of the same tour.
Timberlake's career began in 1995 as the youngest member of the boy band NSYNC. He launched his solo career in 2002 with the album "Justified." Throughout his career, the multi-faceted artist has earned 10 Grammy Awards and 4 Emmy Awards, along with accolades from Billboard, Brit Awards and MTV.
As a singer, songwriter, producer and actor, Timberlake has achieved remarkable commercial success, selling more than 54 million albums and 63 million singles as a solo artist. Combined with NSYNC's record sales, his total reaches over 70 million units sold.
His song "Can't Stop the Feeling!" from the animated film "Trolls" received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song at the 2017 Oscars.
Timberlake released his sixth studio album "Everything I Thought It Was" in March 2024, featuring 18 new tracks. The album includes standout songs "Selfish" and "No Angels."
