Metal music fans in Türkiye are set for a packed concert calendar as German symphonic metal band Haggard and American heavy metal group Manowar prepare to meet audiences in Istanbul and other major cities.
Haggard will take the stage in Ankara, Izmir and Istanbul in October this year, while Manowar will perform at KucukCiftlik Park in Istanbul on July 31, 2027, with a setlist built around its landmark album “Kings of Metal.”
Haggard, a German symphonic metal band founded in 1989, will play three concerts in Türkiye as part of an organization by Vera Muzik and Freebird Agency.
The group will perform at the Ankara Milyon Event Hall on Oct. 9, followed by the Izmir SoldOut Mavibahce on Oct. 10 and the Zorlu Performing Arts Center’s Turkcell Stage in Istanbul on Oct. 11.
Symphonic metal, a style that combines heavy metal with orchestral and classical music elements, has helped Haggard build up a strong following in Türkiye. Tickets for the band’s concerts will be available through BuBilet.
Manowar, the New York-based heavy metal band founded in 1980, will perform at Istanbul’s KucukCiftlik Park on July 31, 2027.
The band will play the full “Kings of Metal” album during the concert, along with several of its best-known songs. Pre-sale tickets for the show started today on bubilet.com.tr.
Known as the “Kings of Heavy Metal,” Manowar is recognized for its fantasy-themed lyrics, powerful stage performances and its role in shaping the “true metal” movement, a term used by fans and musicians to describe a traditional and uncompromising heavy metal style.
