American producer Metro Boomin, a leading international figure in modern hip-hop and trap music, performed for fans in Istanbul.
According to a statement from the organizers, a large crowd attended the concert held at Kucukciftlik Park despite heavy rainfall. The concert opened with performances by Pango, Kavak and Yagiz Kahraman, artists from Turkiye's domestic hip-hop scene.
Following the opening acts, Metro Boomin took the stage and performed a repertoire that included collaborations with artists such as Travis Scott, Future, 21 Savage, The Weeknd and Drake. Attendees sang along to the tracks performed by the artist as the concert continued through the rain.
Held as part of the Only You Live organization, the concert saw Metro Boomin unfurl a Turkish flag on stage during his performance to greet the audience.
Metro Boomin, whose real name is Leland Tyler Wayne, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1993 and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he became immersed in the city's hip-hop scene as a teenager.
He rose to prominence in the early 2010s for his production work with artists such as Future and Gucci Mane, before going on to shape the sound of numerous chart-topping albums and singles for some of the biggest names in hip-hop.

Known for his heavy use of 808 bass drums and atmospheric synths, he has received multiple Grammy nominations for Producer of the Year and is widely regarded as one of the most influential producers of his generation.
Metro Boomin has several concerts scheduled in the coming months, including recurring appearances at LIV Nightclub in Las Vegas, though a full international tour schedule has not been announced.
